Small Saucepan Name 10 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Could someone please tell me what the proper term is for a very small saucepan? Something like .5, .625 or .75 quart? I have heard milk pan and butter melter, but those are taller and narrower than what I need. There is another term... I believe it's French, that is the term I'm looking for.
I can't locate one online to purchase, if I don't know the name of it. I'm looking for all stainless steel (no external copper, nor plastic handle).
Thanx for your help!

there are various different names for what you are describing... and all of the following come in various sizes... a sauce pan is straight sided, a saucier is rounded near the bottom and a windsor is wider at the top than the bottom... all clad makes a great butter melter that might work for you click here...
