Since 1927 the Roosevelt has been the playground of luminaries including Clark Gable, Carole Lombard and Marylin Monroe and the birth place of the Acadamy Awards. Sweeping renovations by acclaimed designed Dodd Mitchell in 2005 heralded it's rebirth- a place where old hollywood and young Hollywood entwine.
The hotel boasts 300 luxury guest rooms, including specialty Suites and poolside cabana rooms, Tropicana Bar & pool, Dakota Restaurant and 25 Degrees restaurant among other hotel amenities.
The Executive Chef is responsible for overseeing the operations and staff of the hotel kitchen and restaurant outlets, assign schedule and supervises all production in all kitchen area, manage department within budget and forecast guideline, assist in preparing annual department budget that accurately reflects the department's operation plan, ensure consistency of service maintains high standards required by hotel and brands, develop and maintain a cooperative, positive, and productive work environment with supervisor, staff, and fellow associates both within the department and around the hotel.
Requirements
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 5 years Executive Chef experience. Luxury hotel experience is preferred.
